Covenant Theology: Introducing the Covenant of Works

The Covenant of Works is a title we sometimes use for the covenant God made with Adam at Creation (see Hosea 6.7), the covenant which man immediately broke. Adam, being the covenant head of all mankind, brought death and curses upon all men. The Second Adam, Christ, came to keep the covenant of works - to do what the first Adam could not do (Romans 5).
