A correct vision for the church must begin with a firm foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Getting the gospel wrong always leads to either legalism or liscentiousness. Getting the gospel right leads to a healthy and joyful people who know they are saved by God's grace through their own faith in Jesus Christ's work on the cross. As Christ said from the cross, "It is finished."
