The seventh bowl is the last bowl of God's terrible judgment poured out upon the great city, which we identify as Jerusalem. Just as God destroyed Babylon of old, He now plans to destroy Jerusalem. It will be completely torn down and burned and the inhabitants will die in three ways, as the city is "split into three parts."
